When I moved to Savannah 10 years ago I lived a block from this abandoned home and would day dream about living there. It has been recently condemned and as I painted it, so many people from the neighborhood came up to tell my how they also were in love with this home and day dreamed about living there. Painted in the morning to catch the glowing sun in the upstairs room in acryla-gouache.
