Harbor Salute
Oil on Stretched Canvas
16" x 20"
A commercial port's orchestration of vast quantities of cargo on enormous vessels is overwhelming and awe inspiring. I love boats, and I know things aren't people, but a tugboat exudes an admirable character. Water spouts, used for quenching fires, often serve as a jaunty welcome (or send off) to their giant companions, and paint-wise, too good an opportunity to miss!
