Tall Palms
Watercolor on Watercolor Paper
15" x 22"

This scene in the Historic District of Savannah with its tall palms and fascinating, silhouette of rooftops were my inspiration. Taking artistic license, I stepped back to create a wide view and played with the shadows on the buildings and road. Along with the repeating patterns of the palms and rooftops, the shadows bring movement and magic to the scene.
