There is a small boggy pond on our property and next to it are two of the most magnificent willow trees. In the spring they turn a brilliant yellow orange before finally growing leaves. I paint them every year and always marvel at how otherworldly the their color is. In the distance beyond the trees we have a view of Taos Mountain.
