This interesting old building near the Atlanta Beltline is due for demolition, so I did a plein air painting just to preserve its memory. Heavy machinery was digging just a few feet from this old structure, and vehicles were zipping by on Milton AV. So I stood there, encircled by yellow "DANGER" tape, sweating in the 95-degree August sun, and worked on my picture. The workers stopped by and looked over my shoulder while I sketched.
