“Moon Glitter” originally was a sunrise painting. It had been kicking around the studio for quite some time mostly of oranges and blues… I never was satisfied with it. Living on the Hudson River I am sometimes treated to beautiful moon rises over the river right outside my window. “Moon Glitter” was painted with washes of darks over the original sunrise painting, Turning the sun into the moon looking out the windows of my apartment and painting the glitter like sparkle on the river.
