The Best of Show Award at Georgia Color is the top honor presented during the event. The winner is automatically placed into consideration for the prestigious Olmsted Plein Air Invitational, held each April in Atlanta. As one of the leading plein air events in the United States, the Invitational draws elite artists from across the country and around the world.

Past Georgia Color Best of Show recipients have gone on to compete in nationally renowned plein air festivals including Plein Air Easton, Laguna Beach Plein Air, Door County Plein Air, and En Plein Air Texas. The Best of Show winner is chosen by a panel of judges and must receive unanimous agreement—making this selection one of the most exciting and anticipated moments of the entire show.

Best of Show is more than an award.  It is a springboard for the winner toward greater visibility, recognition and career advancement.
