Tucked in the foothills of the Southern Appalachia I was acquainted with this little cabin on a painting trip. Surrounded by thick forest and all the creature comforts this place was brimming with character and a feeling of home. The lady of the house opened the door to chat and have a smoke while I was painting so I included the warm glow from the interior.
