"On Holiday" by Lydia Ellis

This painting was taken from a recent trip to Jeykll Island. Driftwood beach is a well visited spot, where many trees present as ancient architectural ruins after past storms that brought them down. Many visit purely to photograph wedding parties and other memorable occasions. But this photo session caught my eye as something truly special. I thought I had stepped into a Sargent painting in the 21st century.
