I love getting out early to paint the Chattahoochee River near my home. The sky is usually a nice cool pale yellow before it gets blue. This long view North was into the light and the mist blurred the edges and set up a nice atmospheric effect. There were plenty of ducks, and geese here because of the deeper water but I found the heron hiding in the shadows the most interesting.
